the staff were lovely and really helpful when I had dengue (one volunteer came with me to the hospital as I don't speak much Spanish). I was in a very uncomfortable bed that I couldn't sleep well in and they let me change for free.

Great hostel, awesome staff, especially Pupi! Even though it's low season, it was very social and easy to find people to do stuff/split an Uber which is somewhat necessary for La Fortuna. Comfy beds and cold AC. I'd suggest adding lamps and hooks for towels to dorm beds. Other than that, everything was great.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, including giving recommendations and helping arrange shuttles. The hostel is well located, near a supermarket and plenty of places to eat. The big dorm also had a good AC, hot shower, and working lockers. Just an awesome all-around hostel!
