Hostel La Casa del Keej is a hostel located in the center of Merida Yucatan. Upon arrival you will find a colonial house and a magnificent chill garden that will make you not want to leave home.
Our rooms are small but clean and comfortable for you to enjoy your stay, they have air conditioning, fan, private bathroom with hot and cold water. We have a good internet speed in case you need to use it.
The bus station is relatively close, so you can get to know many places in Yucatan. We are located very close to the main square where you can find many attractions and places to eat and have fun.

overall a good Hostal: Clean Rooms (on top of cupboard a bit dusty, but the rest was good) AC works (only at night), clean bathroom. Cats and dogs live here.The staff is friendly.The kitchen smells a bit, but is not dirty. there is drinking water, they expect you to pay 6Mexp/l (which is not too bad but unexpected). Nice "garden", no indoor common area.

The reason for the low rating is because the property needs more maintenance. It could use more cleaning and organizing. The employees are relatively nice but the hostel does not look like the pictures and the major issue that I had with it is that the water did not always run. It was an issue when washing your hands or flushing the toilet. I did tell the staff but they assured me it was on, it was not.
