Great location in the city and so a decent price if you plan to spend most time away from the hostel. Strange atmosphere - possibly the time of year - but even the staff were cold. Located in a basement under a block of flats, so no daylight adds to the odd atmosphere too. The bathroom has a toilet cubicle with a semi-see-through door which I found quite uncomfortable. Good bed set up with privacy curtain, though ladders for the top bunks are not built for shorter people.

The hostel was better than photos. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room and bathrooms were clean, have separate bathrooms for women and men. There is a terrace which you can sit and enjoy Batum's view.
