I had a really nice stay at Suraj Inn. The owner and his son are friendly and very helpful!!! The location is very central, so it’s easy to reach all the sights. Thanks a lot :)

For price and authenticity, this is a brilliant spot. It’s a bit more expensive than some hostels but for us (2 30s guys) it was the perfect mix of hostel and guesthouse. Spacious rooms, aircon (although we only needed fans), we had a private bathroom but we were also encouraged to use the larger shared one for showering. The staff, in particular the wonderful Prabhu, are generous and warm and helpful. Great location seconds from Dashashwamedh Ghat.
