Welcome to Hotel Vertigo, a hostel to make you feel at home, and forge lasting memories.
Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Vertigo is situated near tourist sites, bustling night life and shops. However, only thirty minutes away is the magnificent Calanques National Park, where you can enjoy one of the great treasures of Provence. For this, Vertigo is the ideal place to experience everything Marseille has to offer. Our hostel offers communal space and a brand new bar restaurant where stories are shared and friendships are made. The rooms and dorms, decorated by local artists immerse you in a unique atmosphere mixing the past with the present. We offer dorms ranging from two to sixteen beds, with private showers and bathrooms.
Our polyglot team is present 24 hours a day to attend to your needs. Composed of lovers of travel and the region, it will be our pleasure to share with you our favourite spots and where to find the best deals.
Check in is from 3PM and check out is before 10AM, however our common areas and numerous services (baggage holder, printers, washing machines etc) are available for your use from your arrival until your departure.

The most fun and welcoming hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were basic but had everything you need and the en-suites were amazing. They regularly organise socials for the guests and there is a real sense of community. Would definitely recommend!!

Good location, but I have never seen such a loud hostel like this. I listened to shouting, knocking and slamming doors all night. In addition, the toilet door in our room made such a loud noise that it alone woke me up every night. I got a total of 6 hours of sleep in two nights. I can't recommend a hostel if you want to sleep. Earplugs are not enough to help.

Very central, in a great location. However, the bathrooms, common areas and washer and dryer were quite dirty. The cleaners would smoke in eating areas, which is quite unsanitary. The 16 bed dorm was very spacious and I felt very comfortable sleeping there. The bathrooms have no ventilation though, and I noticed some mould growing on the ceiling in the shower, and there would regularly be a pool of water outside the bathroom in the dorm after they’d been used.
