We choose hotel-quality mattresses with pillow top which provide better comfort and enhance rest quality.
We have 5 shower rooms and 6 toilets separately. Hot showers are available 24/7. Washing machine and dryer are also available. Hair dryer is also available from reception for free. Our friendly and trained staff will be available to assist you whenever you need help.

I liked Newton Lodge, and even though I sometimes wished it was closer to the city centre I also liked that it was in a quieter area (though the sketchy street it’s on scared me a bit at night - I also really struggled to find it when I first arrived!). Staff were lovely, and bathrooms super clean and convenient. Rooms are a bit grotty but they do the job - I did however love the little baskets hanging from each bunk! Very useful. There’s not a lot of kitchen storage space, but lounge is nice.

Very clean, comfortable beds with quiet frames that don’t squeak. Small kitchen, location is very central but near a sketchy road so wasn’t the nicest to hang directly around the hostel.
Nice individual bathrooms tho!

Location isn’t far from the centre. Not sure if we were just unlucky but very unsociable. Also never received the email with the code to enter the building
