This lovely little hostel seems to be a converted farmhouse. It was very homely and cosy, and all facilities were of good standard. The only thing was that it was quite quiet, so not much atmosphere, however it is a fairly remote town so it was to be expected! It felt like more of an Airbnb than a hostel really. Also make sure you email/text ahead of arrival as there may not be anyone to greet you! However staff were able to answer our queries via email fairly quickly.

I stayed one night in the Artist Hostel and it was perfect for my stay. I was in a private double room and Barbara was very accommodating. It's only a minute walk from the swimming pool and only ten minutes walk from Letterkenny town. I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks Barbara!

Quite a distance from town, but otherwise quite all right. The best part was: I was offered a complimentary entry card to the sports center next door, where I could enjoy an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, and a whirlpool. That was great!
