The hostel was very basic, with a nice botanical garden clean rooms.
The proximity to the local bar was less than ideal however as the music would be extremely loud till between 11pm-1am some nights.
The staff was very friendly and inviting and the food was stellar.
The other issue I had was that rarely did I have running water in my room and as such was able to shower maybe once a day if lucky and though advertised, no AC; at least in my room. For the price I would look elsewhere.

I have been trying to get this hostel to contact me back for two weeks. Do not stay here, they won’t even do as simple of a task as responding to emails. I was due to stay for 3 weeks but had to leave after four days due to the absolutely trash wifi, lack of power every night I was there and for extended periods during the day (local to only our place, not island wide), and ants all over room. They also tried to overcharge me saying the deposit on Hostelworld didn’t go through when I paid 80€.
