Getting from Charles de Gaulle airport to the city centre is easy with the shuttle bus that runs throughout the day. If you’re taking the Eurostar, you’ll arrive at Gare Du Nord, which is puts you within walking distance of cheap Paris hostels, plus the Metro if you’re staying further out.
As for getting around town, the Metro is an affordable option, with tickets starting from just €1.90 for a single trip. If you’re staying for a week or more, consider purchasing a Navigo pass. The bus is another cheap option for getting around Paris that lets you take in more of the sights, or if you want a more unique take on Paris, the Batobus lets you take in the city from the river Seine.
