There are so many good reasons to visit Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, that we were able to create an entire blog post on why everyone is obsessed with Lisbon . Some great places to visit include the Carmo Convent ruins high above the city, which you can reach via the Santa Justa Elevator, a working elevator from the industrial-age. You could also take a stroll through Rossio Square for a taste of local life, or visit a museum to take in some local culture.
