Hence, we build the hostel which is Lighthouse style for backpackers and travelers to feel at home even they are traveling around.
We hold every different kind of event for backpackers to enjoy and meet the people who come from the world.

Well-situated in downtown area of Taipei, Taipei Discover Hostel is a popular accommodation choice for either business or leisure trip. From here guests can enjoy easy access to all that the lively city has to offer. With the resturants, attractions and shopping stores within close reach, visitors to the hostel will just love its location.
Taipei Discover Hostel was founded by a group of scuba-diving friends, who had traveled the world and had met wonderful people along the way. In return, they had the idea that they should offer foreign travelers a home-away-from-home in their native Taipei.
Offering comfy rooms and good food, Discover Hostel is a social place to meet friends and discover the beauty of Taipei. There are 76 sets of chic beds available in the 3-storey building. Each bed comes with a set of wall lamp and socket.

1. Check in from 2pm and check out until 11am.
2. Both cash and credit card (Visa, Master) are accepted upon arrival.
3. Cancellation policy: At least 3 days advance notice before the arrival date is required for cancellation free of charge.
4. Age restriction: The minimum age to stay at the hostel is 16 years old.
5. Smoking is not allowed.

My 7 days here were nothing short of amazing given the price! The staff was super nice. Shout out to Ricky, who was uber friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Taipei! Its near the bus station and MRT station and is far less crowded than in Ximen. Cheers y'all!

Comments: Only one washing machine and dryer available (It's in the restroom) so you'd have to be there at the right time or wait until someone is finished with their clothes most of the time. Also, not sure if it's the ventilation, lack of AC, or just the weather in Taipei, but the restroom is like an oven/sauna.

Really liked this hostel and the area. My pod/bunk area was awesome, and the staff was super helpful when I wanted to extend my stay. I liked the bathrooms as well. Wasn’t very social but was a very comfortable place to spend a few nights.
