As far as the accommodation is concerned, Montarina offers you three different room categories: Backpackers-rooms (hostel rooms), Hotel Antique-rooms (historic rooms with running water) and Hotel Comfort-rooms (hotel rooms with bath and all modern facilities).

The Hotel & Hotel Montarina is open all year round and offers you a daily breakfast-service for CHF 18.- / per person.
During the summer you will enjoy the beautiful outdoor swimming-pool in our palm-park.
We are looking forward to welcome you in Lugano with great pleasure.

By check-in all booked guests need to present a valid document (ID or Passport)

Group booking (from 10 people) are only accepted through the hostel bookers office.

Comfortable bed, but a huge dorm. Too many beds in one room so more likely to be disturbed in the night. Bathroom was ok, shower very good. Basic, but fine. Own plug socket per bed, which is good. Unusual clientele. Lots of older men.
