Welcome to Birdnest Collective Café & Guesthouse, a travellers sanctuary in the heart of Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur. Birdnest is a labour of Love, and is safe, friendly and welcoming place for travellers to relax and meet like minded people.
We started our first budget guesthouse in 2009 offering good value rooms with basic amenities. Rooms are all air conditioned with en suite bathrooms. It also features a large rooftop café and chill out area to meet fellow travellers and enjoy the sunset view over the city.
Please note that we have a few rooms without window (more quiet) please specify when making the booking if you want a window or not.

Location is fantastic, so close to Pasar Seni MRT/LRT. 7 Eleven ATM below hostel is very handy. Wan the manager is such a kind & genuinely helpful guy. Dorm rooms have clean comfortable bedding, bed-light, power socket with A/C & lockers. Attached bathroom is clean with running hot water. Rooftop garden is a lovely place to chill. Great guesthouse for budget backpackers. Plenty of benefits for the price. Want 5 star perfection? Try a hotel, or take a good look in the mirror before you complain.

The hostel/hotel is super nice, especially the owner. He let me put my bags in a safe room on my last day and even offered that I could shower at the hostel later, even I was already checked out. So kind! Thank you!

Beg is full of bed bugs. The receipt is drunk most of the time. He collected the money and cancel the booking. Such a awe full place to stay.
