It had areas to mingle and it was very lively but you could not here the noise from the dorm rooms.

Would rate this place very highly. Most of south east Asia has 1 ply toilet paper which is not fun when you have a bad tummy. Onederz has 2 ply which makes a massive difference. Showers are cleaned very regularly and there are a bunch on every level. Rooms are clean and bed while thin are actually pretty comfortable with aircon in every room. Food downstairs is pretty good and the drinks are reasonable. It is literally 2 streets from pub street which makes a very easy drunk walk home.
