The hostel staff are extremely friendly and supportive.
The hostel is divided into two wings/buildings 30 sec walking away from each other.
I stayed in a single room (room clean, bathroom ok, window to the hall) that was not located in the building with the common areas, so my stay felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The area around the hotel is central, but very informal (street vendors, shops, small alleys with trash), if you are well travelled it should not be an issue but do consider it

We couldn’t recommend Smyle inn more. The staff working there are so kind and accommodating. They let us leave our bags there on the last day after checking out and even let us shower which was very kind. Great location and breakfast. Good shower. Very good value for money. The staff are consistently helpful with directions and recommendations. Thank you so much.

The hostel is pretty centrally located, which is a huge plus. It's in an alley, so I don't advise coming extremely late, but aside from that, the hostel itself is great. I got sick while I was there, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of me in ways I wasn't expecting I'd need. All and all, this is a great hostel option for Delhi.
