Hostelworld guests say they like this hostel’s position in New Town, saying it’s ‘a very quick metro ride to the Old Town Square’ and ‘only three blocks away from Wenceslas Square, but you are also a little bit out of the tourist old town so there are some great local restaurants nearby with amazing traditional Czech food’. We like that some of the dorms in this hostel don’t have bunk beds.

Loved my short stay at Sophie's! Great location, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, and very welcoming staff. I would certainly choose Sophie's again!

Amazing hostel. I lived in a 5 bed mixed dorm and the rooms were super clean, the bathroom also was super neat and clean and the beds were super comfy.
People at the reception are quite amazing and very helpful and have solution to every problem. The bar also was good and very cheap. You have a personal locker under your bed which is like super huge and easy to use. You can also get a lock for 100CZK refundable deposit.
They also have a luggage room where you can keep your luggage after checkout for free.

The hostel doesn’t live up to its rating. The kitchen was always dirty (nobody looks after it even though they say it)..disgusting. Once there was no toilet paper in 3/4 bathrooms for over a day. The music in the bar is way to loud so that you cannot connect with people. Moreover the heater couldn’t be regulated in the room (it was way too hot and the air was dry so that we caught a cold. NO RECOMMENDATION
