The a&o Muenchen Hauptbahnhof was opened in 2005 right next to the Central Station. The small hostel in the city centre has a quiet atmosphere and modern rooms, almost all equipped with their own balcony.
The a&o Muenchen Hauptbahnhof is just 400 meters away from the Central Station and is thus easy to reach by train. Due to the a&o's central location the Altstadt can be easily reached by foot and is the ideal starting point for excursions into the Munich city centre.
At the a&o Muenchen Hauptbahnhof almost every room has a balcony. In just five minutes you can be at the Theresienwiese to not only take part in the hustle and bustle of Oktoberfest but also just to relax and have a picnic. Due to its very central location we can only recommend public transport. For those arriving by car we offer our own underground parking. Our staff will also glady provide you with insider information on the best parking spots nearby.

In March, we booked a&o Munchen Hauptbahnhof for late September because this location was closer to Oktoberfest than the Hackerbrucke location. In August, we received an email that we had been forcibly rebooked from to Hackerbrucke location without refund for the price difference. I emailed multiple times about the rebooking, and they never responded. The electronic self check-in screens didn't work, kitchen was unavailable for our 4 day stay, and the washer/dryer was broken
