City Garden Lodge is located in Parnell, Auckland?s oldest suburb, near Auckland War Memorial Museum and about 25 minutes? walk from the city centre. There?s also quite a number of buses running regularly in the area. This cosy, relaxed hostel is set in a house with a large backyard, a well-stocked kitchen and helpful, friendly staff. It?s a great place for getting to know your fellow travellers. We like their rather useful library of travel guides.

Our very quiet and clean hostel features a fully equipped kitchen with lots of free herbs, spices and sometimes home cooking.
There's a log fire to heat the common areas and rooms have their own heating as well.
A 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport is available.
