Exceptional hostel! Hotel quality but at a hostel price. Our family of four with two teen boys loved it. A hearty breakfast is included! Gorgeous view of the mountains. Our room — in the new building — was spacious, comfy and very clean with two super sturdy bunk beds and an in-room sink. Very clean bathrooms with locks on the shower doors. Dinner (you can reserve it) was hearty and delicious. Coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement. Take the 122 bus to avoid the seriously steep hike up.

By no means whatsoever is this a “youth†hostel. There were people other than myself younger than their late 20s. It was full of people in their 40s with families. The location was not great either, it was far from anything up a giant hill. This wouldn’t be a problem if the busses didn’t stop running early. Dinner and breakfast ended early as well. Would not recommend.
