Sequoia Lodge is the perfect place to explore the world famous Marlborough Sounds or walk the Queen Charlotte Track. Our fantastic staff are full of local area knowledge and can book tours, make great suggestions suited to you and arrange onward travel all at your convenience.

The owner is a legend working all hours. Very accommodating. The bathroom could do with a refurb or a good clean. Free breakfast was welcome.

For the price we pay, it's amazing. It's not perfectly clean, but the owner is nice, you have everything you need in the kitchen, the owner a free shuttle to the ferry (but to be honest I felt bad after he brought me there as it's not far, like 15min walking, and he stopped working to bring me there), and there is free breakfast!!! It's 10-15min from the center.
