Has great facilities, with a big kitchen and common room. Also having a mini fridge in your room helps with not having to worry about food getting eaten. The only thing about this hostel is that it feels more like a hotel and not many people socialise, I feel more social events could be set up to encourage people to interact more.

We had a warm and friendly welcome after a tiring journey.
our bicycles were stored inside.
we had a private double room that had everything we needed. hot shower, kettle, fridge, heating.
we slept well and were only wakened by inconsiderate guests.

Situated in an ideal location in the city center, this facility has the amenities you want from a hostel such as a kitchen and common area to hang out in, but is also like a hotel in the availability of private rooms with an ensuite bathroom, mini fridge and kettle with coffees and teas and daily cleaning services. Staff was very friendly and it was wonderful to have 24 hr reception as we arrived in Auckland at 3am.
