Really nice and cosy hostel conveniently located centrally in Katoomba. 20 minute walk to three sisters, and close to public transport to various trails in the national park. Common areas and the kitchen are spacey and clean. Definitely an older hostel, but very well kept, and this contributes to the atmosphere. Staff are lovely. Was alone with a roomie that was acting a bit strange in my room, and was moved to another room when I brought it up to reception, with no hassle at all.

This is the first 10 weâ€™ve given, but this hostel really is perfect. Chilled and calm, slightly vintage, not crowded, very clean, friendly, kind staff and quiet rooms, even though itâ€™s just by the main street - close to public transport, shops and bakeries. This is not a party place, but a perfect base to relax and explore the Blue Mountains. Weâ€™ve visited in early December, so the Xmas songs and decor created a nice atmosphere - would be a great place to spend Xmas.
