We're located opposite Central Station which is also the first shuttle bus stop from the airport. We're within walking distance of some of Sydney's main attractions; a few minutes from Chinatown, a 15-minute stroll from Darling Harbour and Sydney Aquarium, 20 minutes from Sydney Sky Tower and a 30-minute walk from the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay. I had a nice time at Wake Up! Sydney hostel. The location was accessible and well fitted to see everything you needed too. Being in the heart of Chinatown and Thaitown there are unlimited options for cheap meals that are tasty, filling, and have large portions. The hostel was very clean. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and lounge areas were well maintained. Most staff were friendly, however quite a few were abrasive and rude. This left a sour taste for our Sydney adventure.

This was a really great hostel to stay at in Sydney. The events in the day and evening were brilliant for meeting people and really good fun, although some of the staff could have been more enthusiastic/talk to guests. The rooms were spotless, kitchen and bathrooms were pretty good. Would defo stay here again.

In fact, we've got everything all under one roof: whether you want to do your laundry, get online, watch TV in our common areas, connect to Wi-Fi, prepare your own food, withdraw cash, book a tour, have a beer, coffee or a cheap meal, Wake Up is fully equipped to serve you!
We offer easy access to all of Sydney's main attractions. I recommend taking the short bus ride to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, or over to Bondi Beach.
We cater mainly to 18-30-year-old travellers on a budget but all adults are welcome and we do cater for people with special needs or disabilities. Unfortunately, we don't have facilities suitable for children.
