While the staff were extremely nice, I wouldn’t label this as a ‘modern youth hostel’
While there are plug points in the bathroom, there’s only one plug in the actual room and it’s not near any of the beds.
In terms of safety, it’s less than ideal. Anyone can get into the building and into the corridors because no key is needed.
Most guests I saw were families with young kids, what looked to be a kids birthday party, a middle school field trip, and a high school field trip. Wouldn’t recommend this place if

This is not a good hostel. To start, there were no outlets by the beds! That seems like a pretty major oversight for a hostel in 2023. There was no wifi in the rooms and even in the common areas it wasn’t very strong and kicks you off after an hour. It calls itself a “youth†hostel but most of the people there were families with small children and older travelers.
