This is Venice Beach, guys! So you are going to need somewhere suitably eclectic and energetic to stay if you are going to experience it right. This is that place. Sitting right on the boardwalk, the view over the Pacific Ocean in front is, frankly, to die for. What’s more, nightly activities make it easy to meet new people – perfect for solo travellers. You can arrange trips to all the attractions around LA, like Universal Studios and Disneyland, from the desk.

Located directly on the world famous Venice Beach Boardwalk and close to LAX, we are the best and most convenient spot for exploring LA's beaches and beyond. Many of our dorms and privates have a full or partial ocean view, and you can also just walk out the door and be on the beach in 30 seconds.
After you've had a day of sunning, swimming or just people watching, come hang out in our newly renovated lounge to swap stories or just kick back. Our friendly and local staff will clue you in on the best happy hours and favorite places in Venice, or sort you out for a surfing lesson or tour.
If you need a break from the sun and sand, we're surrounded by places to shop, eat and relax, and are just a short bike ride or walk from most of the sites you'll know from the movies, including Muscle Beach, the famous Venice Skate Park and the Santa Monica Pier.

location is the best! right at the beach! if you look out the windows you always have a stunning view! the hostel looks cute. breakfast could have some other options- it is all very sweet. unfortunately no vibe and atmosphare. we met 3 staff members: the black guy with the long dreads was super cool!! the rest of the team no idea why they working there. not friendly and cant help with any questions. ratings could be way higher if they would focus more on the atmosphare in the hostel

We really enjoyed staying at this hostel.
The breakfast was good, the room was clean and the people were super nice.
But there’s a club very close so be aware that the music can get very loud on weekends.
The location is amazing as it’s so close to the Venice Beach.
