Just outside of hustle and bustle of old town, with Lapad bay parks following the seaside, forrests, and plenty of beaches in 10-15 minutes away by walk, or old town 10-15 minutes by public transport our small but spacious and very comfy and cozy backpackers and digital nomads hot spot give you choice to relax and see Dubrovnik from different, locals perspective and become responsible traveler. Its most home feel and comfortable hostel-style accomodation(rooms of highest standard, no bunk beds/1 shower and toilet per 2 person max/ free luggage
Residential, very safe and panoramic location, with free parking for your bicycles, bikes, cars or even minivan, upon notice.(available for private rooms only in high season)
We don't have a jacuzzi but we have a soul as once our friend said, this choice is perfect for solo travelers or friends in max of 4 person who like to have a bit of retreat, in spacious , artistic decorated property, with indoor and outdoor space for meeting other travelers, without party , crowd and noise of typical hostels. We have lab rescued dog and cat which are part of our life and are happy to greet you, so anyone who dont like animals don't stay here. We were part of the GOT filming project so if you are into that, you will like it even more as we still keep memorabilia from that time.
If you dare to learn a bit more of local culture and costumes, this is choice for you, as this place is run by 2 generation of locals with 40 years of hospitality experience(english, french and german spoken) who are proud to give you a home feel and inclusivity with fun approach and care. You have great facilities for preparing your own meals and relaxing on our terrace with a great panoramic view .
Here you may book tours with locals, even for free, we organize events and activities of responsible character and if you like to join to explore this experience be welcome!
People with mobility problems can book a free transfer from the bus terminal in Gruz port. Upon reservation we will send you all useful details about transfers, tours, chat group etc

Very nice hostel. Probably best I stayed at in Croatia. Pretty far from old town though. Ubers and bus are cheap but adds up if you’re staying multiple nights. If you’re looking for a nice hostel with chill vibes, this is your place.

Couldn’t recommend this place more. Definitely not a party hostel, but it’s got a really lovely vibe and they’ll make you feel right at home. Ive was a really brilliant host and gave some really brilliant recommendations of places to go. When I had an issue getting on to my next destination they very graciously accommodated me for another night at short notice. Many thanks to the entire DBC team, and a special thanks to Ive for the lovely conversations and the Eurovision screening 😊

I stayed at DBC for three nights and I had a spectacular experience with this hostel. The room was nice and well maintained with a bathroom and common kitchen just like a home. There was a comfy patio with plants with coffee/tea and snacks complimentary. The staff was extremely helpful, professional, and hospitable. When I arrived, the owner made me a cup of tea and accommodated me immediately and her son served us with homemade pizza when I was about to head out for dinner.
