Our day guests can book one of the interactive tours by walk, bicycle or tuk-tuk as well as relaxing with a home cooked lunch or dinner in the outdoors in our community park and around the fire and boma. An overnight experience at the Backpackers Lodge offers the budget traveller a choice of accommodation – camping, dormitory and private En Suite rooms. Home cooked meals served by the fire and the opportunity to explore Soweto on their own by safely strolling around and mingling with the locals or on an organized tour conducted by local tour guides. Community volunteering, self-guided tours and free bicycle hire is also available for the curious traveller staying longer.
