Differently from others, we offer the following facilities:
-LoLHostel is the only LEGAL hostel in Syracuse
-All our dorms have bathroom inside, you won't have to exit the room to get to the bathroom/shower.
-All our dorms have air conditioned and security lockers with key for each guest.
-We are the only low cost structure in town with 300 sq meters of common areas and garden, where you can meet travelers from all over the world.
-You can get cheap food from the supermarket and cook in our beautiful fully equipped kitchen with barbecue facilities
-Our huge structure is located in a picturesque end of 19th century building totally renovated (rebuilt) with the most modern security standards (ceasefire, earthquake proof etc)
-Our location is just 50 mts from the train and bus station (drop your baggage and go!), to/from which all the buses and trains from/to all destinations and beaches arrive and leave, 200 mts from the two main roads (Corso Umberto and Gelone) and less than 10 minutes walking from the two main places of interest, Ortigia and Archaological park, halfway between the two.

Honestly the kitchen and common area was really really nice. But we stayed in the 22bed dorm and the bathroom was so bad :( the mould was some of the worst I’ve seen! Breathing it in at night made me feel shitty :( luckily the staff let me change rooms. Which was nice. Their powerpoints were also dodgy, I plugged my power bank in and there was a surge which caused the power bank to have an internal failure :((

Stayed in Mixed Dorm. All Bed Sheets cleaned and bagged. Fresh towels also. Staff were really helpful, and helped me out navigate the area and all Bus routes. Best Bar/communal Hostel in Sicily I stayed at. Excellent all round Hostel.

Even though it was fairly quiet/end of season I still enjoyed this hostel. The communal spaces (kitchen, bar, lounge, outdoor) encouraged interaction and I met some lovely people. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. My dorm (6 bed ensuite) was okay. There was a good size locker and the bed was comfortable. However, the bunk squeaked a lot and the bathroom needed a good clean. The shower took forever to get hot, especially in the morning when it only reached vaguely warm.
