This new property complex has been created in what was once an Augustinian friary, dating from between the 12th and 13th centuries.
It is situated in the heart of the old town of Levanto, a pleasant resort on the Ligurian coast, at about 100 meter from the see and 15 minutes from the railway station.
There are 70 beds in the complex, the bedrooms are having 2/4/6/9 beds in each.. Two rooms are suitable for disabled and all have adjoining bathrooms.

It is the starting point for the most important footpaths which will bring you in the Cinque Terre's National Park. By train you are in only five minutes time at the first village of the Cinque terre

Overall the hostel is really great and cheap. Room was clean and we appreaciated our own bathroom. Very good location and easy to go around cinque terre. We just wish the beds we're secure, because there is no railing on the upper bunk and also everytime you turned it would make a really loud squeaky noice.

A brilliant hostel to hike the cinque terre from - levanto is also gorgeous. It only has a fridge and microwave which is a bit annoying, and a kitchen would improve the social atmosphere too. My only real criticism is that the beds are super super creaky. But I did love this hostel

I loved my stay at Ospitalia! The lady on reception was very friendly and had great recommendations. Such a short walk from everything. Great location to easily access the Cinque Terra walks/towns. Great beach just down the road! Note: kitchen only has a microwave and kettle.
