Property Description
The Notso Hostel is located in the historic Elliotborough neighborhood of Charleston, South Carolina. We offer a variety of dorm rooms and private rooms at our Main location and a smaller selection of private rooms at our Annex location. We have a 15% surcharge when booking through Hostelworld rather than booking directly through our site. Please note- Taxes are not included in this price.
Included in our nightly rate are: linens and towels, private parking, oatmeal/coffee/tea, and wifi.
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel within 48 hours of your reservation arrival date, you will be charged for the first two nights of your stay and the remainder of your reservation will be canceled.

need access to phone/email to get security code as property does not have an open reception. Owner said this has been the case for over 2 years yet the hostelworld site has not been updated - it still states 5-9pm check-in but if you are emailed a code it should not matter if you are checking in (accessing your room after 9pm). Location is about 20min walk from historical center, good to have a kitchen which had free oatmeal for breakfast but would have liked a TV in the private rooms.

Nice overall, but I would have appreciated if there would be an in person reception. The hostel is fully remote now which makes it a bit unpersonal.
Also you need a lock for your stuff.
