Colonia, the historic town you cannot miss during your trip to Uruguay! Explore the historical stone-cobbled town, filled with flowers, vines, museums and plazas. Viajero Colonia is the biggest house in town, with an inner patio and a laid-back vibe.
Stay in shared dorms and meet people from all over the world, or if you prefer, sleep in a private bedroom. During the day, explore the old city and head to the docks to watch the sunset over the ‘Silver River’ (Rio de la Plata). In the afternoons, come back to the hostel and enjoy our famous ‘asados’ (BBQ’s) in the patio and meet people from all over the world. Later, enjoy a drink in the bar and enjoy our activities in the hostel!

You have up to 48 hours before your arrival to cancel o modify with no cost. If you do not report the change before this time or do not show up, we will have to charge the first night of your reservation to your credit card.
*MANDATORY: Please bring and show your original passport or Uruguayan identification for check-in.
*At your arrival you must pay the balance of your reservation in Uruguayan pesos or dollars. The total in other currencies is informative.
*TAXES: ONLY FROM NOVEMBER 2019 TO APRIL 2020 Uruguayan citizens and foreigners with Uruguayan residency must pay taxes: 10%. This tax does not appear on the final rate of the reservation.
*Note: We have a luggage room at reception, you may store your personal items in case you arrive before check-in time or leave after check-out time.
*All guests must be 18 years or older.
*No pets are allowed.
*Payment upon arrival by cash, credit or debit card. (This property may pre-authorize your card before arrival).
*Breakfast is NOT included in rates.

A nice hostel, perhaps because of the season there were not many travellers, but I was hanging out with the hostel staff and they were all very nice. Just one thing which lovers a little bit my rating, I like the bunk beds with curtains and a light, which I lacked here.
