At the back of the stunning, tropical Judy House property are 6 simple but cosy rooms designed specifically for backpackers and travellers - people of all ages that are travelling the World, the Caribbean or just Jamaica.

Mango, Papaya, Banana, Star Apple - Hostel Rooms - 8 beds, 8 persons in 6 small single rooms. Guava and Jackfruit are two small 2-bed private rooms. Hostel rooms are outfitted with a single bed; power and USB ports; mosquito net; fan; safe box; storage space; bed linens. (Towels on request)

Micky's - spacious Single Room that sleeps, one person, close to shared a bathroom. Separate from the Hostel area with 3/4 bed; reading light; mosquito net; standing fan; safe box; power and USB ports; storage space; bed linens (Towels on request)

Rita's Private Garden Room - a light Double Room that sleeps one or two, with a spacious private garden and space for personal yoga. Separate from the Hostel area with a double bed; reading light; mosquito net; standing fan; safe box; power and USB ports; bed linens. (Towels on request)

Both 'Judy House' and 'Kim's Place' Cottages nestle privately in the 1/4 acre property in front of the main house, providing you with the utmost seclusion while still feeling secure. You will feel comfortable and at home with all the modern amenities (Upgrade in 2022). The lush gardens that surround the cottages are truly stunning. You can glimpse the sea from parts of the back garden.

They are 2 pretty cottages - 2 beds each, 2/3 persons. Clean, cosy, self-catering cottages with screened windows and doors. Complete with ensuite hot water bathroom; linens and towels; fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette. Shady verandah with table, chairs and hammock at the front with private patio, table, benches and at the back/side. (Judy House has a wonderful deck space for private yoga too). With AC; fan; lamps; hairdryer; iron; safes; power and USB ports. Free wifi to connect phone, tablet or laptop

Zoe's Garden Room - double private room - 1 double bed for 1 or 2 persons - AC, hot water en-suite bathroom, private entrance, and a beautiful fenced tropical garden. Designed for couples and friends that can afford a bit more comfort and privacy. Fridge. freezer; ceiling fan; hairdryer; iron; coffee maker; safe box; power and USB ports provided. Zoe’s private garden has a hammock; sun loungers; a table; chairs and a private yoga space with mats (Use of two outdoor kitchens and lots of communal areas are also available).

2 Hammock Cabanas - (4 hammocks, 4 persons) available in the high, dry season. 2 tented Cabanas, Passion Fruit and Starfruit has 2 hammocks. Hammocks come with a small mattress, pillow, and mosquito net; a sleeping bag liner, and a blanket. A securely shared luggage lock-ups provided plus a bench and shelves. You are advised to bring a flashlight as the Hammock garden is lit communally but the Cabanas are not.

The Backpacker Hostel, Rooms, and Hammock Cabanas have the use of 3 shared (and fully dedicated) outside bathrooms (one with hot water); 2 fully equipped kitchens, and wet weather gazebos. A dining area is close to the main shared kitchen with outdoor food preparation and dishwashing space. Laundry area or use our on-site service provided by Judy House Housekeepers who you can pay directly to wash for you.

My licensed 'One 4 the Road' Honesty Bar and Cafe is open 24/7's where you can purchase beers, spirits, mixers, sodas, water, juices, tea, coffee, biscuits, chips, small food items to cook, lighters, rolling tobacco, papers, etc. In busy times freshly baked cakes and local fruits are available too.

Country and Pretty - the Judy House Cottages, Backpacker Hostel, and Rooms are located just a 10-minute walk from the Caribbean Sea up Westland Mountain Road, in Negril, Jamaica. It's a great location, set in a friendly local mixed community which gives you a very special taste of authentic Jamaican living. A few shops and small local bars are to be found in the neighborhood before you reach the sea. On the local seafront local affordable places to eat, drink, hang out by the sea or chat with locals.

Rooms and Cabanas overlook the beautiful rock and hammock gardens; Jamaican bushland; the sun, moon, and stars; plus the Caribbean Sea in the distance. There is a large terraced sun deck with roofed cabana: wifi; table; benches and chairs; sun loungers; and outdoor shower.

Just minutes from, restaurants, bars, shows, parties, supermarkets, gift shops, banks, and of course Negril's famous cliffs and 7-mile white sand beach are at your convenience. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ When your booking has been confirmed by Hostelworld and their fee charged to you please contact Judy House to confirm your booking with them by sending your card details including CVC for your 50% deposit. 50% balance is then due on arrival by card or cash.

NOTE 1:
A local 15 % Tax and $1US per night Guest Tax is added by Hostelworld to Cottages, Room & Hammock prices. (Total Room prices including taxes).

NOTE 2: Due to constant income loss by 'No Show' guests, invalid cards, etc Judy House charges a 50% deposit on booking with the balance payable on arrival. (December 2022)

NOTE 3: Please do not book the Judy House with the expectation of reserving a cheap hotel room and hotel services. Members of the Judy House 'Family' are expected to play their part in keeping rooms and communal areas clean during and after use. Judy House is 'Green Globe' and encourages guests to recycle or compost their garbage in the areas provided whenever possible.

NOTE 4: Conserving water and electricity on our beautiful island is always welcomed.

NOTE 3: Guests booking Hostel and other Rooms should bring their own padlock to secure the room safe-boxes. Safes are provided at Kim's Place and Judy House Cottages..
