Amazing hostel! Super clean and spacious. Loved that they had tea, hot chocolate, coffee and a nice common area to watch Netflix. The location is super central but as it’s right next to the Temple Bar area there are lots of drunk and loud people on the street (as can be expected).

This hostel has a great location. Staff are pretty standoffish. Make and unmake your own beds (which sucks when you have people leaving at 5 am). Cleaned frequently, but the showers flood. Toilets only flush once every 2-3 minutes. Beds are tiny and uncomfortable and loud. And they hosted an entire school group while I was there. I don’t know if this is just and Ireland since i saw it in 3/4 hostels here, but it’s awful. There’s only one common room and the vibes were always v high school.

Very Good

Location is great. However the beds are very old and the USB ports only occasionally worked and charged devices very slowly. It was not possible to charge two devices at the same time even though there are two port. Also the reception staff should point out that people actually need to use the bedsheets and put them on their beds because several people just slept on their beds on the bare mattress/pillow/duvet which I found unhygienic.

Abigails Hostel says

I think we've got an unbeatable location in Temple Bar, overlooking the Liffey. This is a converted hotel, so families and older guests feel at home, too. Plus we've got a bright, open-plan communal area-great for socialising, web surfing, watching movies… For fun we have a free walking tour every morning and a pub crawl from the hostel every evening. We're quite close to Trinity College and Dublin Castle, but my favourite place to recommend is the Guinness Brewery.
