Property Description
In an excellent location in a quiet street right in the centre of Gent, the renewed hostel is just 150m from the famous medieval Castle of the Counts. Retaining a period facade, it offers a high standard of accommodation with 30 rooms all with private bathrooms. Facilities include Free WiFi (in-room), bar, games in the common room, a community fridge and microwave. A great buffet style breakfast & sheets are included. The hostel's bar with a great choice of Belgian beers may be the perfect starting point to discover this city with 55.000 students.
There is always something to do. Museums, pubs, shops, restaurants, theaters ... are all within walking distance.
Although the hostel is only open until 23:00, guests have 24h/24h acces, NO LOCKOUT NO CURFEW.

Really nice stay, only inconvenience is the noise from the schooled kids in the big room next to the living/eating room. very nice staff, safety to access the general and indivual rooms. No noisy corridors, spaceful. Maybe bigger luggage option would be nice (if there is the possibility to take out the mid plank in the safes). I don't know if you have there 4 euros/24hour lockers that some other hostel in Germany have, they are really handy..
Would definetly recommend or come back again.
