Very friendly, helpful host & positive atmosphere in the lobby with the guests!
The beds are a little bit short so if you're bigger than 185cm you'll start touching the bed frame.
Other than that, I'm really happy with the decor and the stay I had there !

The owner of the hostel is an absolute sweetheart! He really cares about his guests and their wellbeing. He gives a lot of recommendations for the area and tells you which places to visit in Taroko national park. He always greets you with a smile and makes sure you're having the best time in Hualien!

Chesdon is a very kind host and was happy to share recommendations for Taroko Gorge and other local things to do. The space is very small, and (like all hostels I stayed in Taiwan) there was not much atmosphere or chance to meet other travelers.
