Property Description

Perfect for backpackers, seasoned adventurers, traveling athletes, large groups, and powder hounds alike. Featuring large common areas, a great kitchen, we are here to suit your accommodation needs. If you haven't been acquainted with Park City allow me to introduce you. Park City was founded by miners and reclaimed by ski bums. Park City, with its wealth of mountain sports facilities, helped neighboring Salt Lake host the 2002 Winter Olympics. Today the small city is home to millionaires who refuse to grow up as well as a new generation of ski bums. On the mountain or in one of the local watering holes it can be hard to tell them apart. Oh! And did I mention that for two weeks a year film enthusiasts and Hollywood’s A list show up for a cinematic event you may know as Sundance Film Festival. And I almost forgot, Park City now boasts the largest ski resort in the country! Combine that with the best snow on Earth and you found yourself a place that will keep any powder-hunter endlessly entertained. It is truly a winter wonderland with a healthy helping of culture and no shortage of fun.

Park City Hostel is the unique in the lineup of lodging options in Park City. It offers a variety of rooms to suit everyone's needs and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Very accommodating for skiers and other travelers. The hostel building fits well in the Park City neighborhood. Big common room with gas fireplace, pool table, and many games. Open kitchen with huge walk-in refrigerator. It’s a great place to make new friends. Well-appointed dorm beds with curtains and charging ports. Free towels. Multiple places to eat nearby. Convenient to Park City’s free bus system for access to slopes and downtown.

There was some sort of motor vibrating the floor and bed frame. I don’t know if it was the furnace but it was very distracting. Other than that it was nice. I’m also deaf so I didn’t hear it but it vibrates the bed frame. A second pillow would have been nice

Top bunks are way too hot with the heat, even naked, which is weird. Sometimes it smells like poop because there are no vents in some of the bathrooms, and there is a wide open vent directly to the hallway which carries both the poop smell and noises from people talking outside until midnight. Breakfast has no lactose intolerant milk options, only whole milk and yogurt which precludes me from half the breakfast options.
