Truly a wonderful vibe! Social and friendly. That said…
The cleanliness was really not there. I picked this hostel because it claimed to have parking and well, it doesn’t really. There are 5 spots on the street in front of the hostel but they are usually full and the only other nearby parking is a paid lot. Stressful to navigate that late at night. Also one of the bathroom doors doesn’t lock, instead there is a twisted metal hook that barely holds it.
Nice people, but I wouldn’t stay again.

AVOID THIS HOSTEL. I discovered bed bugs in my bed, which caused MORE THAN 10 BITES ON MY HAND which causes itching and discomfort that lasted for a week. When I reported this to one of the volunteers, instead of receiving help or understanding, she questioned why I was complaining after staying a few days. She mentioned that she was new and just a volunteer, clearly showing there was no accountability or willingness to address the issue.
The management was practically non-existent, with no proper response to guest concerns. On top of this, the hostel allowed inappropriate behavior from other guests, like a Colombian couple openly making out and having sex in the shared room.
The lack of cleanliness, poor management, and inappropriate behavior from staff and guests made my stay awful.

Latam volunteers were really nice. They helped me for laundry and dryer. The rooms and bed are clean, no bed bugs etc… but showers are dirty and old. Maybe they need a renovation in the showers. I think they need to change their boiler as well. Once we had a short circuit and then it took literally more than half a day to hot water becomes available again.
Overall, above 8 and I’d stay there again but not definitely above 9.
