At MedioMundo Hostel we’ve taken care of every detail of our brand new hostel to give it a unique style for you to enjoy it as much as you can. The hostel’s main common area has a cozy fireplace, cable TV, netflix and a computer for exclusive use of our guests (for free). We also offer you a great patio where you can have a barbecue, and free Wi-Fi in all the building (rooms included). In the evening, you’ll have rice and pasta available to cook for yourself.
MedioMundo Hostel is located in Parque Rodó neighborhood, which is a University and design area, a few meters away from Rodó Park and only 200 meters away from the beach. A 15 minutes walk will get you to the heart of the city centre.In our lively neighborhood you’ll find the best design shops, markets, handicraft shops, museums, bars and an amazing night live for different tastes.
In MedioMundo Hostel we offer you a great variety of rooms: twin room, double room and shared dorms for four and six people.

A nice and comfortable hostel, however there were not many travelers this weekend and the hostel did not organize any social events.

Amazing hostel! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and Sebastian was great. Not very social hostel but the property was very clean and relatively quiet at night. Wi-Fi was strong in the common areas but it came and went in the room. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean

Didn’t really enjoy this hostel to be honest. The hostel is very small and compact, not much free space areas to go have fun. THE WIFI DIDNT WORK IN THE BEDROOM!! There’s not many people in this hostel so as an English speaking solo traveller I felt quite isolated with not many others speaking English and doing their own thing. No hostel group activities either.
I stayed one night and decided to get a hotel the rest of the trip. Guy at the counter was quite nice though but wouldn’t recommend.
