Casa Novo Guest House has 3 rooms for rent in a very big 1900's house with air conditioning, TV, fan, safe external windows( except room3 with internal window), fridge, private bathroom, radio alarm, hot water for 24 hours right in the centre of Havana. Casa Novo was built in 1900 and our family lives there since 1934 keeping the ceiling, doors , windows and tyles originals ;all furnitures are from that time even in the rooms where you will stay.The furnitures are from my family. and were bought by second hand around 1935 Our house is in the centre of the city, 5 minutes walking from the beautiful Malecon and 10 minutes walking from old town, also 5 minutes from Chinatown and Havana Casa de la Musica where you can enjoy live music. To make your stay unforgettable, we will be able to give some tips and share our best advices. Our family staff speaks English. We also offer taxi, laundry services and Spanish and Dance classes by a professional teacher. All that you need to know and enjoy the real life of the Cuban people. From the House you can easily go to: Plaza de la Revolucion (2km), Malecon,Casa de la Musica Havana (5minutes), Train station (1,5km),Via Azul bus station (1.5km), La Guarida Restaurant (20 meters) and many other restaurants, cafeterias and markets.
Casa Novo offers comfortable and spacious private en suite rooms. In our 3 rooms you will enjoy security, TV, fridge with drinks on affordable prices, hairdryer, fan, air-conditioned, safe box, radio alarm, mirrors, and lamps for reading. Linen included.
From 14th may to end of june we offer a 3hours free walking tour when you stay 5 days or more in our house.

we liked our stay, oriana and alex were extremely helpful especially when we lost our luggage at the airport. this street has amazing hidden restaurants, the casa is a safe quiet haven in chaotic havana (bring euros, you only need pesos for small purchases)

I would like to recommend this place to backpack adventurers. The house is nice and clean and more than comfortable for resting for backpackers. The hostess Oriana was of great help during my stay. She lent her clothing to me on my arrival after learning that my airline had lost my baggage (This dress was eventually gifted to me on my departure). She helped me book nice accommodations in Trinidad and Vinales because I did not have internet in the house. She also shared with me little stories about living in

Was pretty disappointed in our stay. Wasn’t the casa experience as Nicolas doesn’t live there another couple does we had very little interaction with them. The location is run down with streets being dirty and smells bad. The room itself was ok but the mattress was pretty uncomfortable, the shower dribble out water and when I touched the shower head I got a shock the toilet only flushed every couple hours unsure if this is just a standard thing. I would recommend staying closer to the new side
