Little Rock Firehouse Hostel & Museum

Built in 1917, Little Rock Firehouse Museum & Hostel is the renovated old Fire Station #2, a beautiful Craftsman-style building located in historic MacArthur Park in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. The Little Rock Firehouse Hostel & Museum is a 36-bed hostel that also doubles as a museum of firefighting history and memorabilia that promotes fire safety. It is the first international hostel in Arkansas and is managed by Hostelling Arkansas, Inc., a nonprofit which has been working to preserve and renovate the building since 2006 through a creative partnership with the City of Little Rock.

Little Rock Firehouse Museum & Hostel is located at 1201 Commerce Street in Little Rock, Arkansas, 72202. The Hostel is in historic MacArthur Park directly behind both the Arkansas Arts Center and MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History one block west of Interstate 30 and near Interstate 630. Both Yellow Cab Taxi and Uber operate in Little Rock.

All beds in the hostel are twin-size bunk beds. We have a women’s dorm with 6 bunk beds (12 people max), men’s dorm with 7 bunk beds (14 people max), a wheelchair accessible room with 3 bunk beds (6 people max), and an ensuite room with 2 twin beds for 2 people.

Check-in is 3-10 PM. Please let us know if you need to arrive later than 10 PM so that necessary arrangements can be made.
Guests are required to check out of their rooms by 10 AM on their day of departure but are welcome to continue to enjoy the common areas.

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
A credit card is required in order to guarantee reservations, but at check-in, you can choose to pay with cash if preferred.

Useful Information
• Adults must provide a valid government-issued picture identification card at check-in (passport, driver's license, state or military ID accepted).
• All lost or damaged key cards will incur a charge of $10.
• No curfew. Once checked in, guests will have 24-hour access to the front door via their key card.
• No smoking permitted on the hostel premises.
• Please note that from 10 AM-3 PM daily the museum will be operating and staff will be cleaning to keep the hostel running smoothly.
• Complimentary guest computer access, wireless internet & on-site/off-street parking is available.
• Various snacks and toiletries are available for sale at our reception desk.
• The hostel has a kitchen and laundry facilities.
• We offer a free continental breakfast daily from 7–10 AM.
• Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and towels are provided free of charge. Sleeping bags and personal bedding are not permitted.
• Storage lockers are provided. Please either use your own personal lock or rent/buy one from reception.
• Maximum Stay Policy
- No guest may stay at the hostel for more than 14 nights in a 30-day period.
