Secret Garden Backpackers is a clean, affordable and popular hostel located just a few minutes walk from Sydney's Central Railway Station and Bus Terminal. We are the perfect hostel to accommodate you during your stay in Sydney
We offer free WiFi. All rooms feature large individual lockers, private power sockets, comfortable beds and fresh linen.
We are located opposite Prince Alfred Park, and only a few minutes from all of Sydney's major attractions including the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Guest will be able to check-in during Front Desk opening hours from 14.00 to 22.00, after reception trading hours the night manager on duty will check guests in until 2am, please call the number displayed on the front entrance.
Only accept guests over 18 years old presenting a valid ID or passport.
* $20 Key deposit upon checking in
* No outside Guests allowed
* 1.5% surcharge on all card payments (No Amex accepted)
**Please note that all bookings have a 3 night minimum stay during the dates of December 30th, 31st, and January 1st and bookings during this period are non refundable**

I recently stayed at this hostel and had an incredible experience! The moment I walked in, the warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. The hostel's garden is an absolute highlight. I loved the cozy atmosphere and the events they organized, which made it easy to connect with other guests.

The staff at the reception is the worst. Don't get tricked for the reviews, they're part of a free laundry exchange.

Be careful when booking, the pictures are highly edited. The place is run down and not clean, the rooms are stuffy, beds are cramped together and smell bad. I didn’t even stay, after 30minutes of arrival, I gave my key back at reception and checked out and the employees refused to reimburse my stay so I paid for 5 nights even though I didn’t stay there. Horrible experience altogether I definitely do not recommend.
