Baanrimtaling is a relaxing place.Great wifi, Clean room with hot shower, Good view of Mekong river, We serve dinner & breakfast everyday. Thai food & Pasta , Fish & Chip, Salad, Vegies food. We taking care all guests like a family. Feel like at home. Baanrimtaling is locate on overlooking Mekong river, river walk. Just walking from Bus stop (old Esso station) for 400 meter. Direct to south/east of way to Wat Sobsom(Temple). Just ask people aroun bus stop how to get here, we are the most close to bus stop in down town. Safety community no crime around and far away from noisy Bars.

Arrived 6 hours before check in and was able to go to my room straight away and rest after my night bus. Owner is really helpful and booked me onto the 2 day slow boat for the next day. Morning of, had breakfast and coffee before leaving for the boat. Very relaxing and tranquil which allowed me to recharge.

The host is wonderful super helpful and really nice we had a really nice meal in the evening and I organised the crossing of the border and the 2 day slow boat through her. However the room wasn’t particularly clean with there being lots of insects and what I hope was some peeling varnish from the ceiling on the bed. The room I was in hadn’t been used in a while so I assume this was why. Take earplugs! The other side of the river is Loud and the cockerais wake up early

Owner is lovely and welcoming (as are her cat & dog). The place is very wholesome and nice. The bedroom itself and toilet/sink are clean, but the rest of the bathroom is full of spiders and a bit dirty. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re scared of creepy crawlies, I had a myriad of creatures staying with me (I found it cute, others won’t). The view over the Mekong is amazing, and great to chill out on the balcony after a long journey.
