We are NOT located in downtown El Nido. We are 2km (5 minute ride) south of downtown on El Nido's sunset beach. We are located right in front of the islands of Tour A, B, and C, and also 5 minutes away from Las Cabanas Beach.
We're a fun and social hostel like no other. It's all about being part of the vibrant atmosphere at Outpost. Laze out in the sun on our beach, chill in our beautiful lounge, go island hopping with us and your fellow hostel amigos, and come join in on our fun nightly events!
From the members of staff, managers, and owners, we are all present to assure you have a fun and comfortable stay whilst exploring the beauty of El Nido.
Outpost Beach Hostel offers one of the most majestic views one can take in while in El Nido. The sunsets from our property are one of the best the world can offer. The sun actually sets over all the islands you want to explore while you are in El Nido. We have our own tour desk, tour guides, and boats and have island hopping tours going out every day at 9AM. The boat launches right from the beach making the easiest access for island hopping.
We have a great restaurant on property led by former Iron Chef Champion, Chef Kathleen. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served daily. Our bar is open until 11PM everyday loaded with fun nightly games, themes, and events led by our all-star bar staff and our own supernova, Anderson.
We are also proud to be one of the only sustainable tourist establishments in El Nido, treating our sewage with our sequencing batch reactor system to government standards and minimizing our impact on the environment. We are also actively involved with the local communities and charities to improve El Nido as a whole.

This is a great hostel with a spacious social setting and a TV to watch live sport which was nice. There are a couple of problems however, one being the music here is SO OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD! Good luck meeting new travellers and sparking up a random conversation because you won’t hear a thing. Good luck sleeping before midnight. Unless you’re drunk you’ll always be uncomfortable with how loud this is. The other is that this is a beach, so high tide make it’s so difficult to get into the hostel 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸

Without a doubt the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff, the location, the vibe, the facilities, all perfect. If I could’ve stayed for a month I would have. Their island tours are extremely convenient, the sunsets from the deck are amazing, but it is the amazing staff that make this place so special.

Only stayed for a night. We arrived late in the evening when the party was full on. In the morning the atmosphere was more nice & chill. Beautiful location. Staff was so friendly and cool. Ensuite toilets not good - only a sliding door, and after a shower water was flooding everywhere.
