Excellent location, very friendly staff, good heating in the winter, charming and eclectic decor. You truly could spend a whole day enjoying the art on the walls. Two free roaming cats and two cockatiels in an aviary in the lounge, which I loved, but anyone with allergies be advised. Small but well equipped kitchen. Unisex toilet stalls and showers, which were very clean. All soft furniture (including mattresses) was worn and musty. Overall great stay but mattresses need replacing badly.

Extremely weird vibe in this hostel. Most uncomfortable I’ve ever been staying in a hostel to the point where I was afraid to sleep. It had halfway house/crack den vibes. There was an aggressive lady in the bed across from me, talking aggressively to herself all night. Reading out loud abusive text messages that she was about to send to someone. No lockers either, and no way would I feel comfortable leaving my stuff in a place with those vibes.
