Located 5 min. away from the bus station, central Plaza & Cathedral are five blocks from us. El Carmen Arch is 3 blocks away while Handcrafts Market is 200 meters from the property. Eight blocks from 'El Cerrito de San Cristóbal' Church, La Merced Church is a 10-minute walk as well as Santo Domingo Church. Also, 5 min. walk from the two main touristic pedestrian streets.
*Please Note that we are NOT a Party Hostel. San Cristóbal offers so many options to go out and enjoy. If you want any tips on where to go out and enjoy the party scene Our Staff will be more than happy to help out with information!

Facilities include: an immaculate 10 bed mixed dormitory, Girls dormitory (6 pax), private rooms with en-suite bath and a beautiful suite with a private terrace. Providing a Prefect combination for all your Needs at a Great Value!
Guests enjoy the use of a clean, Beautiful and well equipped community kitchen, with coffee maker, microwave, 2.5 refrigerators, stove, we offer FREE clean water for cooking and drinking, FREE Local Coffee and a great selection of Teas to enjoy in our spacious dinning room.
Also, you are welcome to spend the chilly nights in front of the fire in our Living room – drink wine, roast marshmallows, play our selection of fun Board Games or just hang out and make new friends!
All rooms are equipped with electrical outlets, FREE bath towels, extra blankets and hangers. Hot water available 24 hrs. with good Pressure in Showers , we clean daily the rooms, common spaces and keep on top of maintenance. Also with 24 hrs. reception and you will get a key to have access anytime.
Other amenities include FREE internet and Wi-Fi, FREE luggage storage and FREE lockers in the dorms.

My stay here was amazing. Very relaxed atmosphere and all staff members were great. I stayed in both mixed dorm and private, facilities were clean. Staff clean the rooms everyday, make your bed, and change the sheets after a couple days. Other guests liked to stick to themselves but there were others who would hang out and have a conversation. Not a party atmosphere at all. Close to city center. Hostal can help with tours. However, one thing to keep in mind is the tours are shuttles that take you to Palenqu

Out of the three hostels I stayed at in San Cristobal, this was my favorite. It's small, but that doesn't mean there's a bad atmosphere—really, I met more people here than at the other big hostels I stayed at. The vibe is cozy, the kitchen is good, and the beds are comfortable. My only complaint is that the dorm is on a busy street and with the windows open the noise of the cars can be loud, so be prepared with earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

Lovely hostel, spotless clean and good cooking facilities! They had free spices and bacteria wash for fruit/vegtables. Great location, about a 10 minute walk to the centre of San Cristobal/the market. We also did the Sumidero tour from the hostel which was good value. The atmosphere is very quiet in the hostel so if you want to party / socialise go outside the hostel or stay somewhere else.
