Cancellations and no-shows made beyond that time will result in a charge of 100% fee plus tax.

Do not recommend. Whilst the location and the pool were nice - it was massively overpriced, our private room was tiny and dirty. The kitchen was dirty as well, not as dirty as the bathrooms though. Toilet paper was missing from our bathroom for a whole 3 days. Some of the staff was very friendly, most were a bit rude and unhelpful though.

The best thing about this property was the staff members. They were incredibly kind and helpful! Unfortunately, the rooms were quite dirty, and the atmosphere did not seem very tailored to backpackers who want to socialize. It would be nice if there were more spaces to sit and hang out as well as more games to play. It was designed too much like a restaurant. Location was perfect. Within walking distance to everything in Tamarindo, but not directly downtown, which was good for sleeping.

To start I mostly enjoyed my stay at Selina Tamarindo. Downsides were having cold water most of my stay and not them not changing linens regularly. I’ve been to other Selina’s and they were better kept. Also there weren’t many activities hosted by the hostel to get people to mingle. I had to go out of my way to make friends but no biggie. Overall I would stay here again, the proximity to the beach and restaurants was a huge plus.
