The property offers outdoor accommodations such as comfort camping platforms with roof, tent and mattresses with the possibility to choose between an existing tent or bringing your own.
A dorm creates accommodations for four people with separate beds, orthopedic mattresses and mosquito nets. Another option is a cabana with a queen sized bed and writing desk.
Embedded in nature, Maracumbo provides a fully equipped outdoor kitchen - loungeplace, sundeck, Yoga space and hammocks where you can mingle with interesting characters or simply take a peaceful siesta in the middle of the afternoon.

Christian is a wonderful host. Incredibly helpful, very laid back. The space is very peaceful, just a 5 minute walk from the town. It’s extremely nice to have some distance from the noise of the Main Street. Highly recommend :)

Excellent place to stay in Mompiche – just far enough from town to avoid noise/crowds and experience real forest but close enough to get to the surf and restaurants in less than 5 minutes' walk. The facilities are well-built, beds comfortable, showers working and pleasant. I met some nice people there and really enjoyed discussing local surf and eco-tourism options with the owner . A solid choice for experienced travelers.

I had a lovely time staying at Maracimbo. I was lucky enough to be there the last night of Mompichefest, and Christian was kind enough to show me around the town. We also had a great surf session the next day on a board that Christian prepped and waxed for me. The hostel was clean, in a great location and very peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!
