Property Description
Tucan Hostel is all about family hospitality, it is attended and managed by a local family made up of Mom and Dad (Lili and Gustavo), their daughter (Mariel) and their grandchildren (Emma, Salvador and Paulina). We expect to make the tourist feel at home and as our special guest. We offer services such as a shared kitchen (with all its utensils), pool, free Wi-Fi, shared and ensuite bathrooms and lockers.
If you choose to have your stay at our hostel we guarantee you will have an unforgettable experience being part of our family, sharing our traditions and of course come with the desire to enjoy every time.
We are located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, within the heart of the Puerto Iguazu City (close to several shops and services like banks, bus station, supermarkets, exchange bureau, and bars or restaurants).
We offer you different rooms with all the services that a tourist might request, as we said we do our best to make the guest feel comfortable and pleased with our facilities (see air conditioning, housekeeping service, etc.) we also advise our guests about the different tourist spots and attractions.
IMPORTANT: All our prices are in USD but if you want to pay in Argentinean pesos, it will be in the 'blue' exchange rate of the corresponding day.

We loved our stay at the Tucan Hostel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff made the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. (gave us great /tips on where to do groceries, laundry, transport, eat, etc.) On top of that they did not hesitate to accommodate us when we wanted to check in early and needed towels. There were many opportunities to socialize with the other guests like learning to make empanadas with the family. Thank you so much Mariel, Anna, Jonna and Yoel.

Amazing location for visiting the falls, less than 5 minutes to the bus station. Staff are helpful, has a friendly atmosphere and good living space.

Overall we had a good stay and great value for what we received. The dorm (advertised as a 4 bed but was actually a 5 bed) was big and clean with the sheets changed everyday. There was only one bathroom for the entire hostel which wasn’t ideal. The staff at the hostel (Joelle I think! Was great, super welcoming and gave us all the knowledge needed.) I’d recommend staying here, just bring some earplugs as it’s noisy at night!
