MyCocoon Hostel is a brand new concept in the Mykonian hospitality industry. The MyCocoon Project is about combining the art of hospitality, with stylish design architecture and accommodation, at very affordable rates. Opening in May 2017, MyCocoon will be the only hostel in Mykonos Island, Greece. Furthermore, it will also be the only design hostel as well.
The location is prime location. Area is called Kaminaki and is right across the street from Mykonos town entrance only permissive to pedestrians. The hostel is ideally located right at the entrance of Mykonos Town seaside, called Gialos where most cafés, bars and restaurants are located.
MyCocoon Hostel in Mykonos, is the ideal option for young or elder people and groups of friends, who wish to socialize in a totally friendly and youthful environment and most of all, enjoy upscale design accommodation, that costs much less than any other hotel in Mykonos. The MyCocoon Design Hostel Project, has been envisioned and created, for welcoming the guests of Mykonos Island and inviting them to experience a new trend in the local hospitality industry, an experience of affordable design accommodation in Mykonos, that will make for unforgettable summer holidays. There is no kitchen in the hostel, but there is a pool and bar area where guests can buy a snack or drink or socialize. There is 24 hour security surveillance on the site.
We offer a choice of either a single or double bed in our communal dormitory with a shared bathroom. This is the ideal option for the lowest rate and for socializing!
NOTE: If you wish to sleep in the single dorm bed then please select the option of a 1 SINGLE BED (1 PERSON) - 46 PERSON MIXED DORM or DELUXE 20 BED MIXED DORM, if you and your companion wish to sleep in a double dorm bed please select the option of a 1 DOUBLE BED (2 Persons) - 46 PERSON MIXED DORM or SUPERIOR 20 BED MIXED DORM. When selecting a double bed for 2 people choose 1 bed from the pull down menu and not 2 beds.

The guy there is really friendly, easy going and super helpful, as a solo female traveller he immediately made me feel very safe and welcome. The common area is just stunning; the view with the pool and cheap beers just at the store downstairs creates an amazing atmosphere, of course travellers are usually friendly but the intimacy of the common area made it very easy to make new friends for more island hopping! Very grateful for my stay

The location is perfect and very pretty views. We had a very nice receptionist who let us stay in a more private dorm free of charge. But, we had multiple staff come into our room at night and then in the morning. House- keeping came in twice while we were sleeping, which wasn't ideal. The a/c never got cold, it was so stuffy that my clothes in my bag were damp after just being in the room. There was mold in the shower head and I found a clump of hair on my bed that didn't belong to me.

Great hostel, friendly staff that was very accommodating. Location is perfect. Beds are comfy.
It would be nice to have a communal fridge up in the common area, or a mini fridge in each dorm. As always with hostels, do your bed bug check right away :)
