Eco Hostal Rio Piedra offers accommodation in El Zaino. We are located 1 km from Tayrona National Park, very near from the Piedra River and just in front of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta. All the rooms are equipped with a fan, mosquito nets and bathrooms (towels and bed linen are included).
You can enjoy our colorful bar, outdoor pool, green areas, free Wi-Fi, free parking and pool table. Is possible to have a nice meal at the on-site restaurant, if you want to cook your own meal we have an amazing communal kitchen (free).

The property was really nice rooms were good and comfortable. Just super dead no one there. They had a bar but not open. If you want a nice quiet private place to stay it would good for you.

If you’ve ever wondered what a huge, beautiful jungle resort looks like completely empty, go here! The property is so big, it took us over 30 minutes to explore it and we didn’t see a single person the whole time. We arrived at 7pm on a Sat and the bar and restaurant were both closed and empty (bar was never open during our 3 day stay). The 1st room we got had a thick layer of dirt everywhere, no mosquito net, broken fan and broken toilet. Stuff unhelpful and unfriendly. 100% do not recommend.

Really beautiful hostel near the National Park. Had good facilities such as swimming pools, pool table and restaurant/bar. Staff were helpful the owner was even nice enough to drive us to the National Park up the road. Showers were cold but Santa Marta was hot so this can be a welcome relief. Didn’t see much in the way of security we walked in and out and there were no locks to the bedroom. However ideal location near the National Park
